What is Twitter?
Twitter is an online social networking and microblogging tool that was launched in 2006. Twitter connects you to the latest stories, ideas, opinions, experts, and news that intrigue you. Millions of people and organizations use twitter to quickly share and discover information. It allows users to post, receive, and view text messages limited to 140 characters. These messages, known as “tweets”, can contain photos, videos, quotes, article links, and much more. People can reply to tweets creating real-time conversations. Twitter can be accessed through the website interface or a mobile device application.
